Tuesday, January 22, 2013 - Decanted for two hours. Fragrance subdued at first, but opened up during the last few sips. Drank two glasses this evening. For the first glass, all flavor was overwhelmed by boiled herbs (the "green meanies"), slight acid, and a touch of heat. The second glass, drank an hour later, showed the same acid and slight heat, but the herbal notes faded very quickly. Flavors that followed were of cherry and a bit of earthiness, a bit subdued. Short to medium finish, not very complex.
