Monday, October 4, 2004 - This wine is how you forget a '91 DRC Romanee St. Vivant from last night...but not in any good way. Nose of cabbage, rotting vegetables, fallen leaves and cotton candy. Perhaps this is the sweetness of decay that people speak of? On the palate, weird anonymousberry Kool-Aid taste combines with bruised peaches. Dries out on the short finish. You can certainly tell it is Pinot Noir, but what a bizarre one it is. There was one good thing about drinking this wine - I don't have any more left.
