Thursday, August 1, 2013 - Every once in a while you get a wine that really surprises you. This was one. I really expected it to be past it's prime, but it was lovely. I could have drank it all night. Still lively, fruity, very fresh, smooth and easy drinking, medium bodied, enough acidity to pair well with filet, not too sweet, and the oak way in the background. I was wrong 5 years ago, thinking it only had 2 years left in it. It's awesome. If you have one, crack it open and enjoy! Wish I had more.
