Sunday, January 31, 2016 - Nose of raisins, developed dried fruits, concentrated home made fruit syrup. Lots of strawberries and citrus fruits. The palate follows the nose. Citrus and a bit of drying towards the end of the palate. Prunes, blackberries. Long finish, but not as complex and powerful as I hoped for. The dried and candied fruits leads me to believe this bottle might be a bit damaged by heat and not optimal. But then again, many '07's are a bit like that nowadays. Tasted against a Burguet Gevrey Chambertin Mes Favourites VV 2005, and that one blew the socks of this poor '07.
