92 Points

Friday, March 6, 2009 - Brought this in magnum to Irving Mill, NYC. A leaner-styled pinot with lovely, snappy cherry fruit. Medium-bodied and finely concentrated but still young, it shows tasty notes of what I call that "haunted forest" flavor I often find in the best red Burgs. Finishes course and crisp and dry. The fruit is really special here and hopefully this wine is balanced enough to continue aging well despite the dry tannins of the vintage. 92+
