Opened with Lamb and this was singing after a few hours! Pretty classic with olives / bacon fat but had more sensibility (less rusric) than some other bottles.

Tannins have subsided and frankly this was way better than a 2006 La Geynale opened a few weeks back. I wonder if that wine needs more time?

Overall a really good bottle from the last vintage of a legend
