- Nose: The nose is characterised by a lot of liquorice, chewing gum, raspberry, vanilla and added christmas spices. Intense nose and only a few tertiary aromas. On closer inspection, the nose is dominated by ripe fruit, which appears cooked and jammy. For me, personally, Almost a bit one-sided.
- Mouth: In the mouth, the taste profile is equally aligned: Ripe, cooked fruit. The finish is powerfull and long lasting. Ripe tannins and quite full-bodied. Brute power! Compared to the Bordeaux wines (today also tasted) the finesse and freshness is missing.
- As there are few tertiary aromas to be recognised at first, a good 5 years of ageing potential.
