Wednesday, March 9, 2016 - Colour shows significant browning. Nose of red cherry, nutmeg powder, rhubarb, and kindling. Slightly stale, but deep. Palate shows powerful, Shiraz-like fruit flavours (red cherry, raspberry, rhubarb), but also a stale touch of oxidation. Good structure, with fine-grained tannin and strong acidity (bitter, but not totally unpleasant). One of the more interesting wines we tried tonight.
