Saturday, March 17, 2018 - 1989 Lafon Genevieres: Lafon has been facing some premox problem lately but before mid 1990s there was not such an issue. The bottle was in perfect condition. On the nose, buttery sensation, honey, white flower, very lovely, on palate, mouthful feeling with very gentle acidity (opposite to linear, reductive style), roasted almond/ hazelnut. After 2 hours, more structure, gained a bit more weight back palate, the acidity was there but was very round and silky.
