Thursday, March 14, 2013 - (13.8%) After 3+ years in the cellar this one ($7 made by Bob Lindquist of Qupe) still shows loads of fresh (almost crunchy) fruit. Fresh is not the end of this story as this is extremely focused (thought perhaps a bit linear) through its spiced, white pepper finish that lingers nicely. Certainly on the restrained side for fruit in a California Syrah but much to my liking. I’d say short term aging paid off here! Shame is I only have one bottle left…
