Thursday, April 24, 2008 - Decanted one hour and sipped for an hour or so before finishing with tuscan sausages and mash!!Dark ruby. Nose takes time to develop. Eventually shows red cherry with background oak and white pepper. Very intense cherry fruit, medium tannins and high, but balanced, acidity. Lovely wine with creamy texture I adore,and wish I had more .Bought in Florence on recco of wine mechant. 14.5% abv Outstanding.
