Saturday, December 5, 2009 - 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Syrah and 10% Cabernet Franc and Merlot.
It ages 20 months in new French oak barrels.
Decanted for 1 hour.
Absolutely gorgeous nose. I could smell the aromas almost a meter far from the glass.
It smells very ripe and sweet blueberries and blackberries, flowers and humid oak....I just couldn't stop smelling it.
On the palate, it tastes pretty much what it shows on the nose.....it is full bodied, balanced, with firm and velvety tannins, medium-long aftertaste, good acidity, round and lush.
This is really good and very food-friendly. Totally recommended!!!
