Saturday, March 13, 2010 - 2005 Syrah Horizontal representing 4 continents (Casa Tomek): Tasting note from memory of a heavy drinking night. Dark and well balalnced, definitely get a leafy character coming through on the nose (I suspect from the cab franc component). Definitely still some structure to this wine, but concealed well by the fruit. I need to try this again with a clear head, as I had nearly 2 btls of wine before this glass.
