Sunday, January 5, 2014 - We brought this to a dinner with friends, each of us bringing a bottle of wine. Decanted for an hour while we drank their bottle of wine and then poured. This kept developing over the 2 hours we drank it (a long dinner, closed the place down) until it was just amazing. Seamless, full bodied, currant, espresso, dark chocolate, sage. 30 second finish. I kept the ranking at the same level as my last bottle 5 months ago but I think this is conservative. Still has a long life ahead and I'm going to try and hold the last couple of bottles for a few years. I just do not understand the reviews in the low 90's. This bottle simply blew away the 2001 cos estournel which was very good also and was definitely the WOTN.
