Sunday, May 18, 2008 - Decanted for about 45 minutes before the first sip and took another 45 minutes to finish the bottle. Deep purple color with bright red rim. Very intense bouquet of graphite and cassis, with layers of dark fruit and cherry emerging over time. The nose was more complex than the taste - fairly straightforward Cabernet flavors in the mouth, but perfectly balanced and well integrated. Would be interesting to taste again in 10 years.
