Saturday, June 6, 2015 - Charming and quite open nose with some development. Red fruit, hints of shoe polish, mineral, cherries and raspberries. Subtle spicy notes. Gently integrated oak. Very Pinot, very Burg.
Medium-fullish, generously fruity palate. Hints of chocolate. Good acidity. Beginning to soften up. Very spicy on the finish. Raspberries, cherries and beginning forest floor. Tasty, but lacking some depth. After a while add some stone minerality.
For a Corton I found it elegant and smooth, and already in a good place.
