Saturday, March 21, 2015 - Sadly, our last of three bottles. This is an exceptional wine. Flawless. No sediment. Very minimal rim variation. Highly opaque, dark, dark purple color. High fruit and earth intensities. The aroma has black pepper, leather, herbs, and iron/blood. Dark fruit and flowers are present. Dry. Medium minus acid and tannin. Medium alcohol. Long finish. This is a beast! Paired perfectly with filet mignon. Perfectly drinkable and approachable. Still a baby in my opinion. This absolutely exceptional wine must have plenty of bottle life left. If you have it, drink up, but, I wish I had more to cellar. This is a true beauty.
