Tuesday, January 25, 2011 - A really beguiling nose, with some soft oak, cigars, leather and aged red fruit. The mouthfeel is very smooth, with notes of slightly fortified wine reflecting it's age. The tannins are soft and resolved, but the wine was not flabby. Drank with a roast beef Sunday dinner it stood up quite well.
