Sunday, January 10, 2016 - Tasted in a 4-syrah wine flight against 3 more recent Nota Bene syrah at the Tasting Room: Wines of Washington in Post Alley Pike Place Market Seattle. A dark purple in the glass, with slow-forming legs. The nose features blackberry, black cherry, roasted meat and oak. Good intensity and concentration, with white pepper joining in on the somewhat clipped finish. I recall enjoying the 2004 version quite a bit more. Still nice, but drink up if you are holding these.
