Friday, November 10, 2023 - Perfect fill and cork in excellent shape. Pale ruby red with a hint of orange; Spectacular, nose was incredibly aromatic with stewed strawberries, candied cherries, light baking spice, slight cigar box, perfume. Silky elegant entry, tannins mostly resolved, this is showing insanely well, very pretty, open, all tertiaries but no off notes or funky aged qualities. Nice tangy finish--this resembled a very good Burgundy at this point in its life. At Kendall's with Steak Frites, but it really sailed with the tuna tartar and caviar. W/BN before LA Phil
