Friday, March 1, 2013 - Drinking very nice. Decanted about 30 minutes before drinking and it was very smooth with nice structure. Tannins were tame but fit nicely with a filet mignon from the grill. Plenty of black fruit and oak with the backbone you desire for a red meat pairing. Had a silky texture and nice mouth feel without the astringency some others had noticed.
