We tasted this alongside the other top Bandol wines (Tempier, Pibarnon, Ott, etc, etc) and the Pradeaux stood out as the most tannic and backward of them all (both the 1998 and the 2004 Pradeaux were tasted). It has just the faintest nose of oxidization, a fairly sweet core of fruit, but a bit unbalanced towards the acid side. I'm not buying any Pradeaux more, due to this backwardness, and who wants to wait 20 years for a Bandol anyway?!?
