Saturday, August 22, 2015 - Decanted two hours. This wine is bigger on the nose than the palate. The nose has an earthiness and almost a forest floor scent with cedar and wet autumn leaves yielding to a hint of dark berries and even cherry. Similar to the nose on the palate it yields dark fruit, but not as pronounced. Finishes weak. Minimally tannic. I have one more bottle but don't want to let it age too much longer and lose what little fruit is there.
