Wednesday, November 17, 2010 - Medium ruby color. Difficult to write up a good TN for this wine because it changed markedly in the glass over two hours. Began with a lot of caramel on the nose, mulling spice and sweet red cherry/strawberry. After a time the caramel notes receded, it became more integrated and somewhat more herbal with more of a black cherry aroma. Medium bodied on the palate with good presence, lots of fine tannins on the finish. Room for upside in time. 91+ pts.
