Likes this wine:

Friday, May 18, 2012 - Decanted two hours and served after a Duroché Charmes-Chambertin 2009. Complex semi-mature nose with leather, figs, plums, strawberries, mild pipe tobacco and a lot of other things, perhaps not so wonderfully fresh as the Burgundy, but very impressive in its own right: In terms of sheer drinking pleasure and general quality it is certainly on a par with the grand cru Burgundy. Fine juicy taste, perhaps less mineral than Burgundy. Still a young wine for what it is.
