Deep garnet core, very narrow pale rim. Youthful nose, lots of vanilla, strawberry fruit, touch of coffee and also meatiness as it comes to room temperature. Medium bodied, ripe strawberry fruit, plenty of vanilla again, soft tannins, not overly rich but quite plush and broad , fresh./vibrant acidity carrying a decent length if still slightly tight finish. Potential upside - needs more time - next bottle 3-4 years.
