Thursday, October 11, 2012 - Light transparent red. An elegant CdP. This is really drinking well. Smells of grenache cherry fruit with garrigue and some underlying minerals. Tastes like it smells. Light in body. Tannins are still present on the long finish. Not the most complex CdP for sure, but still quite good. I don't get any heat on this wine at all. Nicely balanced. Label says 14.5% abv and I am pretty sure Laurent picked this earlier than most in the region.
