Saturday, November 22, 2008 - This wine has the most wonderful nose I have ever experienced in Chateauneuf. It is full of ripe plums, tobacco and some saddle leather. The taste is almost harch at this point, very strong tannins that not even a bloody steak could calm down. The sweetness and strong alcohol kills our interest after a while, and the bottle was never finished. Strangely enough - this wine was dead the second day. I hope the taste will catch up the the nose, then this will be a 95 point wine.
