Saturday, February 14, 2009 - The nose started out with bacon fat and dark re fruits with a touch of spice. After 3 hours the garrigue kicked in, at the end smoked bacon with kirsch. It just got more and more concentrated whilst at the same time not too showy. On the palate Black cherry and herbs, still firm tannins but not in your face, still quite alcoholic but not so as to burn away the fruits. Good mouth filling glass of wine with a long length.
