Wednesday, June 22, 2011 - Bottle purchased with the guys after a big big session the night before. Dropped into the local wine merchants and shared the price. Sat down to enjoy this wine on an English summers day in the garden. On opening the bottle I was delighted with a beautiful aroma of fresh black fruits and cigar box notes. Complex and enchanting. It wasn't the turbo charged blockbuster I was expecting from this wine. The emphasis seemed more on elegance and finesse than power. It rolled over the palate. Creating and developing to one of the most enjoyable wines I have tasted this summer. Will I buy another bottle at this price .......
