Tuesday, October 3, 2006 - Still red/violet, hard to detect browning. $12.49 label still present. While this was an off year, it still has plenty of secondary characteristics if not much fruit. There's tobacco, leather and American oak galore with a little cherry fruit peeking through. Palate is disjointed and finishes thin with plenty of acid remaining. Still, for 12 & a half bucks it was an interesting and nice smelling experiment.
