Sunday, February 28, 2016 - Really enjoying this excellent Tablas Esprit de Beaucastel! Really dark, chewy berry fruit on the nose with some savoriness. Loads of ripe, crushed black cherry, notes of black licorice that just go on and on, a touch of mint, and a bit of freshly tanned leather. There are well resolved, fine tannins, tongue coating viscosity, medium plus acidity and a medium long finish.
