Sunday, October 24, 2010 - This wine needs some time in the decanter to show what it's about. Right now 1-1.5 hrs at a minimum. I had this to determine whether to buy more and the answer is a resounding YES. I will let the new bottles rest a bit. Typical Mondavi style of reserved currant fruit with higher acidity than most other Napa cabs. Less ripe and fruit forward than the prevailing style these days, which is what I like about them. 90-91, easily a 91 based on potential in the future. 07 continues to impress.
