Sunday, October 24, 2010 - Initially this wine fell short. Very tight, high tannins and the taste and nose was subdued. Saved half the bottle for the next night and wow what a difference! The wine opened with hints of tobacco, dark cherry and a slight burnt tasted on the finish. Nose was rich with some subtle sweetness. I did not get the dense earthy nose as with most Napa cabs but still a very interesting wine!
