Saturday, December 4, 2010 - Dark ruby color. Nose: currant/black cherry fruit with dark chocolate, cola, soil, and some fresh mint. Medium body on the palate: sweet blackberry and black cherry framed by rich dark chocolate, soil, and graphite. Solid balancing acidity. Moderate/firm dusty tannins. Lingering mint and chocolate on the moderate/long finish. Textbook Napa Cabernet. Needs a few more years in the bottle to come together. Very well done.
