Tuesday, January 18, 2011 - 15.5% ABV. Dark garnet, more or less opaque in the glass. Aromas of vanilla, cedar, and ripe currant on the nose. Full bodied with black currant and black berry fruit on the palate. With this bottle, I didn't notice any meaty or port-like nuances, more just a straightforward, ripe Cabernet. This has a pretty nice QPR. 90-91ish.
