Friday, January 28, 2011 - Perfect purple color, the color you expect from a good cab. Somewhat reserved on the nose. A little dark fruit, a little oakiness, a touch of alcohol. The palate is nicely integrated. All components are balanced. Very nice mouthfeel, crisp and refreshing with just the right amount of acid to create a juicy finish. Do I wish that the fruit was a little more pronounced? Yes. Do I wish the structure was a little bolder? Yes. But I think this is still very well made and an excellent value. Hope it will also get better with some more time in the bottle.
