Saturday, May 28, 2011 - Had this wine with pizza last night and found it couldn't stand up to even that most pedestrian of meals.
Muted nose moved into an awkward disjointed wine with an astringent finish. Blech!

6/2/2011 5:16:00 PM - Are you sure the bottle was OK? I ask because tonight I opened one that was corked -- no fruit, just that nasty wet-cardboard taste. Second bottle was very nice, good cab fruit balanced with fine tannins and appropriate acidity. Couldn't expect much more in a bottle <$17.
