Friday, January 20, 2012 - Very jammy red fruit on the nose, a bit harsh and jumbled on the palate with a significant hit of raspberry jam on entry. Full bodied, but lacking focus mid-palate. Letting it air out for a few hours only diminished the harshness, but didn't show more focus. If I had another bottle I probably wouldn't touch it until 2018, but I wouldn't be surprised if the time would just turn the sharpness into flab with continued lack of focus. Drink 2017-2020.
