Thursday, July 19, 2012 - Did not decant. Improved over 2 hour drinking window. Suggest decant. Varietal profile shows up in this wine. Blackberry, cassis, and cedar/vanilla. Cedar was very prominent, as was the heat, until 1 hour had passed. Fell more into balance, but was light on the acidity. Nice wine that I hope will improve in a 2+years.
