91 Points

Friday, July 11, 2014 - I consider this to be the best bottle of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon for under $20 year in and year out. I typically buy 6+ bottles of every vintage and put them away for a few years, and then start drinking them when they are b/w 5 to 7 years old. The '07 is a really nice wine. After 30 minutes in the decanter all I tasted were tannins and too much dark fruit. The wine started to come together after 90 minutes in the decanter. The tannins / rough edges were gone, and you tasted a mix of fruit, leather and cedar. This wine hasn't even started to stretch its legs. I have 7 bottles left, and will probably not have another bottle until 2015.
