Friday, February 20, 2015 - A Cali-Cab that certainly punches above its weight. Dark red/purple with ample legs in the glass. Herbal, woodsy notes in the bouquet with an abundance of dark pit fruits on the palate, alongside of fresh cranberries and cassis. A wisp of mint at the back end that carries over into the finish, along with some more woodland notes. Very satisfying, especially at its under-$15 purchase price.
