Sunday, February 20, 2022 - Still drinking beautifully, aromas of cassis and blackberry, light touch of oak, beautiful, clear deep red/garnet color with no bricking. A classic Napa Cabernet with palate of cassis, blackberry, graphite, and oak, all in balance on a medium+ weight frame. Just enough smooth, silky tannins to hold it all together on a medium+ finish. Elegant, straightforward Cab, in Mondavi’s restrained style, still fresh. One left in the cellar, probably will hold for another 6-12 months before it fades.
