Saturday, November 1, 2014 - Purchased from winebid. It is readily apparent that this wine was properly stored throughout its long life. Napa cabs gets all the hype yet wines like this prove that Sonoma cabs when "classically made" can age incredibally well if properly cellared. I drank this same vintage perhaps 6 years ago and this shows how Arrowood is a top tier producer. Color still had some deep red, little bricking, tannin was non existent, as this wine showed red fruits and "slightly" secondary earthy components. This needs to be drunk up as after 15 minutes in the glass the fruit fades and then shows the acid more; the acid is what gave this wine its longevity in combination with what must have been gobs of fruit when first bottled. Thus, another amazing california cab from the benchmark 1994 vintage.

11/2/2014 5:59:00 AM - I agree. I have two bottles left and a number of other well made 94's and they do age well.
