Friday, February 3, 2012 - A very pretty wine, it shows well out of the bottle and improves after a half hour or so, showing cherry, even a hard candy cherry and other bright candied fruit along with woodsy notes; elegant, well-integrated tannins. It has a firm structure far in the background that holds it together. Hard to believe it has 14.5% abv.
