Saturday, January 15, 2022 - Upon opening this seems a touch bit oxidative which seems to be house style ( motsly Chard around 2/3 with rest PN in most vintages with some oak ageing) but with a little air it starts to fire on all cylinders. Ripe yellow apples, tropical fruit and a solid mid palate and bass notes. Definitely more on the serious side of the vintage with nice acidity which results in a fairly long finish with some nice mineral notes and that after the rain wet stone thing going. Definitely worth giving this some air to show it's best. Quite complex.
