This is fruity and has a pleasant "zing", but isn't a particularly outstanding example of a meritage blend (Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. It has a very dark ruby color and a fruity and spicy nose, echoed in the mouth. There is a medium-long finish with a distinct spiciness as the final note. The more I drank of it, the better I liked it - but I never got the impression that is a classic. Just a decent every-day red.
