Sunday, February 11, 2024 - Deep ruby. High intensity nose with aromas of cherries blackberries, cedar, tobacco, violets, licorice, dried meat, and baking spices. Palate echoing the nose, but savoury notes more dominant. Med +acid, med + body, med + tannins, which are quite gritty and drying, but fruit and acid balances it out again in the finish which is quite long and complex.
