Saturday, June 5, 2010 - Blind Grenache Tasting w/ Ben Smith, Dick Boushey, Bob Betz, and MrBigJ (Wild Ginger, Seattle, WA): Nose of citrus fruits and green apples. The palate had flavors of tart pears and also a lemon rind-like flavor. I thought this had a really nice, oily mouthfeel that made me think of Rousanne. This wine had a long finish where the citrus rind flavor really stood out to me.
