Saturday, August 26, 2017 - The cork crumbled and the wine had to be strained for consumption. Color is very honeyed topaz. Nose is baked apples and just slightly oxidative. Mostly clean on the palate, with apples and white raisins, there is plenty of ripeness, but also plenty of acidity to keep its structure taut. This provides both pleasure and interest.
